pride comic

happy pride gang! I wanted to do something special for the first post of this month, and I’ve been very comics/art brained, so here’s an experiment of sorts to see how I like making comics traditionally. it’s very messy, but if you can forgive that, I hope you enjoy :)

a short bug world story!!! i decided to go with a medieval vibe to really hammer home the game of thrones influence. also, content warnings include terminal illness and death of a sibling. and bugs, obviously. enjoy! - On the sixteenth day of Midburrow in the year 1161, Princess Heve Vespoad, third of her name and third in line for the throne of Vaspest, ventured out of the safe walls of Castle Vavest for the first time on her own. we’re (almost) so back

hello!! my sincerest apologies for not posting last month, life got in the way. because of my time not posting, I’ve been thinking about what I want this blog to, like. be. and because of the life circumstances, I’ve fallen back into my favorite coping mechanism: writing fiction. I had almost forgotten how much I love writing, which is a shame because I’ve been doing it seriously and consistently for…fifteen years, jesus christ. but we’re back! and I have the urge to write again! yippee!!! now, what does this have to do with this blog? everything, in fact. I want to use this blog as a way to post my shorter writing. to encourage myself to do what I call “writing doodles,” which is just writing outside of the context of a larger project, like a novel or a play.
